A home staging consultation is It is a very detailed discussion, advice and review of what needs to be done to the property before the sellers list it to guarantee the best possible photos, draw of potential buyers and price for the home. 

What to expect from a Home Staging Consultation?

They will evaluate your home's current condition, make recommendations on how to improve its overall appeal to potential buyers and marketability by rearranging the furniture, removing furniture, decluttering, painting, updating fixtures, or updating entire rooms. 

What does a Home Staging Consultation Consist of?

1. A typical consultation is about 1 - 1.5 hours, some go longer depending on the size of the home and home much needs to be done to the home. 
2. The Home Staging Consultant and Homeowner complete a walk thru of the entire property, interior and exterior. 
3. The Home Staging Consultant advises the Homeowner on what should be done to each room to maximize the amount of potential buyers that see the home and value for the home. 
4. The Home Staging Consultant will advise steps to be taken in each room while the Homeowner takes notes and asks questions as they proceed through the house. 
5. The Home Staging Consultant can offer alternative options for Homeowners who are working with a budget or time frame if needed.
6. The Home Staging Consultant is available after the consultation is over for other services at an hourly rate which is usually discussed during the consultation if needed.  
7. It is then up to the Homeowner to decide what they want to do or not do based on the Home Staging Consultant's recommendations, the Homeowners timeframe and budget. 

Do Home Staging Consultants Provide a Written Report?

Set2Sell does offer a written report option, however, it is double the price because it takes the Consultant double the time. The Home Staging Consultant needs to walk through the property takes notes and pictures and then write a full report. This is usually an option investors from out of town call us to do for them.
